It's Blogger BOM time.. and here is my APRIL block
And my MAY Block
Visit Cathy for the directions
And the whole family!
I am making this quilt from one layer cake and some added yardage of the red with numbers and the black polka dot.
Now that I have this many blocks I'm really starting to foucs on color placement for the blocks. I want to be sure to sprinkle in Green, but not too much.. and some of the reds and tans are gone.
Also I'm starting to think about a setting. Jackie is going to give us one so I am waiting to see it.. but I may want a larger quilt. Lap size as I have in mind a person to give this to.
How would you make it larger?
Would you repeat blocks? Add new blocks in?
Make a medallion setting?
PS - There is a category on the right side called Bloggers Block of the Month where each of these posts are grouped.

Your blocks really work well together. I'm not excited about mine. I am behind right now and will catch up when school is out!

They are really looking great together! I do love blocks on point. Maybe on point & a medallion. Can't wait to see what it grows into.

Love these blocks. Yes I was going to suggest setting them on point with a solid. Or adding sashing and a wide border. You could also group the blocks in sets of 4 then add sashing and/or border. I know you will come up with something amazing and fun!! You've almost convinced me to start another sampler quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

Setting them on point will make for a larger sized quilt. I love the typewriter letters!
