I like to take a photograph of my quilts with who they were made for even if I am keeping them.It is so hard to give all of them away.I also enter the photo in my computer and a photo for me with all info on the back of the photo.Whoever gets my quilts has a label on the back with the name of the quilt, who quilted it and the date they got it.

janita

i try to put a label on the back of each quilt. that is the extent of my documentation. I am wondering what to do with quilts I make for charity. would some one want my name on their quilt? thanks for a chance to win this. janita

Sharon

Is this where you enter to win? I can't seem to figure it out. I need it though. LOL

Jan Dick

I am relatively new to quilting but I have taken a photograph of each quilt I've made so far. I have a quilt album online that I add date made, who it was made for and where I got the pattern. I also document the date I gave it to the recipient. Maybe I will enjoy looking back years from now.

Judy in Idaho

I always take a couple of photos of the quilts as PROOF that it existed at one time! I love all the documenting ideas that are out there now and I WISH gramma would of done that on all her precious quilts. But at least it is making me aware and starting to label and take photos everytime and drilling this important step in quiltmaking onto my up and coming sewer daughters! DOCU..DOCU...DOCU......:)

Karyn Bruck

I've been tracking my quilts for the past ten years via scrapbooking. It's fun because I often times take photos as I'm going of problems and solutions, weird and funny things that happen, making a little story out of each quilt. I hope some day to pass it on to my daughter as a nice memory of how much her mommmy loved quilting.

BTW...you're my new favorite blog!! Great beginner's tutorial! Posting it on my FaceBook account for all to see. :o)

Deb

I document my quilts in a journal with the date started, length of time working on it with daily hours, fabrics used, as well as thread, batting and specialty stitches widths and lengths used. I try to take a few photos along the way, and always take a picture of the finished quilt for my blog. Quilt Album looks pretty darned cool!

Mary Ann

Welllllll, I try to get photos of each quilt I do especially if they are gifts and going to be going away to live. I label about 1/2......those going away! I never write down fabrics or patterns. Thanks for the chan e to win this program, looks wonderful!

Pat Bandura

I some what document my quilts. I do get a photo of them and I draw most of them up in EQ so have some of the pertinent info stored there. Have wanted this program for awhile . So glad to have another chance to win it and a new code for a discount if I don't

dawn

I document all my quilts, first by labeling them, then photographing them and keeping an online journal of information about the quilt. I include size, date completed, recipient's name and occasion, how it was quilted and pieced, and sometimes fabric. I would love this software so I could actually include everything in one place. Thanks!

martina

I norally just take a picture and share it with my bloggifriends.
Sounds like a great thing!

melissa

I haven't done a thorough job in the past documenting whay I've made. I had taken photos of gifts, but not what I made for sale.

Karen Lieberman

I take pictures of most, but don't have them organized in any way. Lost lots of photos when my last lap top died. I really do need a good plan for documenting.

Stephanie

I usually photograph and when I started I wrote my labels onto a piece of fabric and stitched it to the back but now I hand stitch the wording on the label. Going to have a look at Quilt Album now.

Anne Friesen

I attach labels to all my quilts, and take pictures of everything I make. I also have a notebook, in which I keep track of everything as I make it and how it was made, and to whom it was given.

Evelyn G

I document my quilts on my blog. I haven't always done this. I really don't even know how many quilts I have made. I would like to do better. Thanks for the chance to win this great prize.

Eileen

I take pictures of everything I sew. Most of my patterns are scribbled up with my notes and changes.

lauren

I keep track of my sewing projects by picture and in a notebook with changes to the pattern and scraps in a plastic sleeve so I can compare or duplicate if needed. I want to remember all aspects of the process!

Dorothy Ramage

I have 2 journals I bought years ago and I've stuffed photos and scraps of fabric into them over the years. They are such a mess as I've taken the time to sort it all out and trim and glue the scraps in. I think this album with be the answer.

Karen in Me

I do by taking pictures and putting them on CDs just to remember what I 've made and given to community/charity groups.

tubakk

I take pictures of all my quilts, put them on Flickr and keep them on my computer with some info. I put my name on all big quilts.

Susan N.

I'm new to quilting and only have a few quilts done so far. I have taken a picture of them and put in in a notebook with relevnt information.

Rhonda H.

I take pictures of all the quilts I've made, front and back, with some closeups too. One of these days when I have the time, I want to put in some sort of "album" with more written detail. Maybe this software would be the ticket; thanks for the chance to win it!

Ashley

I'm not very good at it. I get so excited to have it done and give it to its intended recipient that sometimes I forget to document properly. When I do remember, I take a picture of the whole quilt and close ups of the different blocks.

Kelly Wenhold

Yes, I keep a photo of the quilt along with some fabric swatches in a notebook with a brief description. I mark the date it was started and the date when it was completed.
