Yippe Skippee... my new book is out!
It takes a good year to plan, make the quilts, then publish a book.
I am so inspired by antique quilts and this book is my fresh take on
"Medallion style" pieced quilts... YEP.. PIECED!
The cover quilt is called "Rose Garden" and I have a 2nd colorway IN the book!
The book has 7 quilts with an 8th alternate center
Don't you LOVE this one I called 'Antique Mist'?
Soft aqua and a stronger selection of pinks.
Two colors... it could be Brown and Pinks
or Green and Yellow
how about Red and creams?
When I started this quilt I had the BEST group of fabrics collected
The blue and green was speaking to me big time.
"Blue Lagoon" is the result of a super geometric doodle and a extra super group of fabrics that inspired the design.
I had to include a quilt with stars!
"All Roads Lead Home" is a quilt to show off a beautiful floral.. I'd been holding onto that red print for a long time just waiting for the right project!
Don't you think this quilt would be amazing as a wedding or anniversary gift?
Some of my quilts were done by JoAnn Hoffman
and some by Cindy Dickinson... thank you ladies for making my quilts look amazing!
CLICK HERE to buy my book ... I'll autograph it for you!
You can see all the other quilts are on the store page..

I love your cover quilt - this book will be added to my library!

Yay you!congrats on the book. I might just need to get this.I started a quilt for my daughter 2 years ago because of a star medallion in colors she liked. It is not finished because the son of a gun WILL NOT LAY FLAT grrrrr( and I got stuck creatively on how I wanted to surround the medallion.)Even though my daughter has challenged me to "use up stuff I have" before buying anything else.....,I think she may agree that buying this book may give me the inspiration to finish her quilt!-so it would be an investment that yeilds a profit-Wink!
