First let me say this naughty quilt top was HIDING from me yesterday
Instead of looking, I first emailed my friend Cindy who has a box of my quilts to quilt for me. It was WAY EASIER to ask her than go looking. Apparently I was not the only one that thought Cindy might be the answer as she had another customer ask if her checkbook was at Cindys'... and no.. the checkbook was NOT with my naughty quilt top.
Ok.. I have a UFO goal of QUILTING this bad boy by the time I go to teach in Paducah (woot!).
The fabric on the left is the backing.
Unless I decide it's too cute to use on a wall hanging and use something else.
And for a Happiness Key binding....
I can do the stripe fabric, the pink, or the blue.
Tell me you Binding choce and if I should use that backing... or not

I like the backing fabric you have with the top, and also the blue with the green palm tree print. Like either the pink fabric binding option, or perhaps the stripe. It will be great no matter what you choose!

I would do the blue binding and I would go with the beach girls on the back. What a surprise to see those bathing beauties when you flip that wallhanging over. I'm sure that you can find another use for that cute fabric you are thinking about using for the back.

The stripe cut on the bias works for me.

I like a stripe on the bias for binding a fun quilt like HK. Reminds me of a beach umbrella.

The backing is great! I love reading all the opinions on the binding. Don't think it will help you decide though.... seems split between the pink and blue. I am a blue girl all the way, but I really like the stripe as well. ;)

Yes to the backing, it's darling. I would probably do half pink and half blue in some sort of configuration.
See you in DUCAH!

I would use the blue dots for the binding. And yes to the backing. Just my opinion. I'm still working on my Happiness Key quilt. Well, sort of working on it. It's actually just sitting there waiting for me to figure out what to do next. Glad to see you are about to bind yours.

Definitely the PINK! Can't wait to see you have it finished. Need to get mine out and work on quilting it! Such a fun and friendly friendship quilt.

Yes, on the backing. And a BIG YES for the pink binding. It looks perfect with the flowers.

Yes for backing and I like the stripe for binding.

I vote for the blue binding. I think it would make a nice frame without distracting from the top. I like your backing choice too.

Blue binding - boring.....
Stripe binding - too busy - the eye will go to the outside first of your very cute quilt....
Pink binding - would set the quilt off perfectly- draws the eye into the pink house
Great backing too!

I like the pink. It tends to make the striped inner border look brighter than with the blue.

Definitely stripe binding. And I like the back!

Yes to backing and pink for the binding.

Yes use the backing for the quilt! Adorable! I would use only the pink for the binding or both. I think the quilt has enough blue already and needs the pop factor of the pink.

Pat, I like the blue binding the best! I love the backing fabric and it is too cute to waste against a wall! If it was a lap quilt, it would be seen!

I like the blue binding.

I used the same backing fabric and that is why Jackie thought the flip flops on the labels. I need to figure out my binding now!

Pink AND blue! The Pink makes the flowers POP, however I like both up in the pic. The backing makes for good conversation if you take it to Padoo....

I love the backing and would just use it. Why not use both the pink and blue in the binding...a strip of pink....a strip of blue.. would be really cute.

My vote for binding is the blue dots, and go for the backing. It looks cute!!!
