Welcome to my home..
what do you see hanging on my studio wall?
Let's go a little closer
yes... it does look like a FINISHED "Happiness Key"
Doesn't it look great?
It's DONE.. did I mention that yet?
Here it is hanging outside on my fence
I did very easy quilting on it, done in 2 nights time
this is not a big quilt
Big loops and swirls
and a few more detailed things.. like lines on the roof!
I know everyone wonders about quilting around embroidery
I just looped between and through some of them
works out fine!
And here is the Backing
remember you helped me pick this out from my options HERE?
So what IS Happiness Key?
This is a free pattern, a gift from ME to YOU
you can print off my FREE the pattern HERE
It was designed to go along with my good friend Emilie Richards' Triology of books with the first one being Happiness Key. At the time she wrote a 'mini' to go between book 2 and book 3. That was free but is now going to be an ebook.
We had a GREAT time making this and a bunch of us chat at my quilt group HERE.. so come join us.. we'd love to have you!

Love the Happiness Key! I will learn to applique from you if it takes me forever. You do such beautiful work Pat! Even when your working your creating

Your Happines Key quilt looks great, Pat! The mermaid fabric wasn't one that I picked, but it looks adorable on the back of the quilt.

The key to happiness is doing what you love!Me- sewing quilting, costuming. I costume for small local groups with no money much for costumes. It makes you be creative (I know where all the thrift shops are, lol)to make them.
