(I somtimes forget what LQS means.. Local Quilt Shop!)
Tomorrow we kick off with the first fabric giveaway... come back!

I had 3 terms I just saw and did not know what they meant, and now I can't remember them! It was a linky party for UFO's, NewFO, and a couple of other acronyms I don't now. I'm assuming NewFO is new finished object since a ufo is an unfisished object?

I sat and watched the wind blow all day long. I needed to get outside to do some repairs on my chicken pens, but the wind just would not let me

Spent the day choosing some items for our new home we expect to be in sometime in May or June. Very exciting time for us.

I spent the day Thrift Store Shopping with a friend who needed to find 30 small creme brulee dishes for a wedding shower she is hosting next weekend. We found a few at each store. She is now only 5 short. What a silly, fun adventure it was. Peggy

I live in Kimberling City MO and we had a tornadoe come through on Feb. 29 2012 luckily no damage at my house but no electricity. So I went to breakfast and lunch and shopping at places that did have electricity. When I finally got home the awesome folks at the electric company had us back up and working.

I assisted a girl friend in cleaning and servicing the sewing machines from church. We also made sure they were operational as she was teaching the young women at church how to sew a simple table runner.

Ran errands, took 16 year old son to the dentist, enjoyed dinner with hubby, 16 year old and 23 year old son who dropped by to visit. Nothing spectacular but did manage to piece together a border for my Bonnie Hunter Orca Bay Mystery Quilt.

This is a great March Madness idea! Be careful I think CBS might have a copyright ;). Yesterday was just an ordinary work day for me, but I did finish putting together the center of a baby quilt of "words" for my new grand-nephew. On to the borders tonight!

It was a very nice day. Shopped at my favorite book store and then hit JoAnn's. Wally world was up next, and that was a crazy place :-) Guess everyone wanted to make the best of their extra day.

I kept company with an infirmed elderly neighbor lady so her husband could take a well deserved break. While we visited for the afternoon, I worked on some embroidery and a felt project.

I met two friends for lunch. Then in the evening, I met my quilting friends and I worked on the binding for my quilt that I just got back from the longarm quilter. Today I hope to get it sewed on my machine, so I can finish the back by hand.

Well, I was going to quilt but I have a cold. The medication and sewing just are not a good combination. I watched American Idol on Tivo instead.

Pressed fabric and watched nun movies on Turner classic. Oh, the little things that make me happy...
