I noticed that you did not take a picture of the messy piles of fabric around my feet!

Looks like a very fun day! Hope you all got something nice done for yourselves and/or loved ones.
Used to meet at a local retreat center three times a year, but the group got too big and noisy for the room. We're quiet quilters and the volume got too much for us. Maybe some day....

t's a lot of fun and a great way to stay motivated!

It was a lot of fun. Sure looks messy in the photo, and we had piles of fabric all over the place, but it was casual and creative. And lots of laughs :)

I use to have many friends to quilt with but I moved to a new town and I am so busy looking after grandson I haven't made any new friends and I really miss that.

Two friends come to my house about twice a month. We mostly do hand work, applique, etc., but once in awhile we try a totally new skill or go on "shop hops" of our own,
and are still planning a trip to the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, NE, just 50 miles from where we live in Omaha. Love my quilting friends.

There are three of us who get together to sew. One is moving out of state in September and will be greatly missed. We love our sewing days, full of fun and laughter.

From upside-down brownies to upside-down friends. LOL! When good friends stitch together anything is possible. This also made me think of Fred Astaire dancing on the ceiling. Oh, and my brownies were really good with our spaghetti pie. :-) Recipe will be on my blog later this week. :-)

Haven't in a long time. It's a blast when we do though! Never tried it up side down. Oh, and I will be making brownies this afternoon, thanks to your post yesterday. :P

Each Tuesday night we get together at church, anywhere from 2-10 ladies. Such lovely ladies and spirits they have :)

There are 6 of us who get together every wednesday for a day of piecing and quilting. Some do handwork, some just bring stuff to cut and others piece all day long. We meet at one friend's house because she has a nice big studio that fits all of us.
