Roll Call

I haven't yet...actually I'm so brand new to quilting I'm literally green. Hence why I'm stalking all the fabric and quilt blogs I can find to muster my courage to sew my first quilt.

I actually have two in the works right now - a batik scrappy-looking star quilt, and (aargh - TOO long in production) a "Stars around the Garden" quilt in April Cornell's Nature's Notebook. I love that one so much - but OMG the many, many pieces in each block...

I did make one, or most of one, back in the 90's. I took a class at the local adult school. I don't think I ever knew the manufacturers or lines of fabric back then. I was a beginner and just made sure the fabric was cotton.I should dig it out and finish it.

I made a sampler years ago, but don't remember the fabric line. I love the fabrics in the Astor Manor Line. Thank you for the chance to win them.

I've made 3 sampler quilts, all using scraps from my stash. I like to try to use up fabric I have on new techniques, that way I have room for new gorgeous fabric.

I've made several sampler quilts over the years. I love them because every one is different and it's so much fun deciding what fabrics go where! The largest one I made was for my daughter's housewarming gift and it was made from your "Georgia" line in the orange/gold/green colorway!! I'm working along with you on the Blogger of the Month sampler too!

I made a sampler with the "Cottage Romance" line from Maywood Studios. It uses kits from a shop hop and I am picking it up from the quilter today! It is 90 x 90, and it is going into a bedroom being redone complete with matching pillow cases and curtains! I can't wait. I will post pictures of it when the binding is on!

I love your blocks. How fun. I have a sampler quilt that is a WIP that was a BOM program at my LQS. I didn't use any specific line, mostly I used fabrics from my stash.
Thank you and Aurifil for a great giveaway and a chance to win.
