Yesterday was my free day b/c after work my hubby was out for the evening and I looked through tons of magazines for inspiration for a baby quilt - a gift for a friend.

Today was my "free" day, off work to clean house and play in my fabric wrok room. I cut a bunch of red 4 inch blocks for a red and white pinwheel quilt I am going to make for a surpise Christmas Quilt. I would love win some of the marvelous Aurfil thread for some special stitching.

I am a new follower of your blog, love it! I spent my free day doing free motion feathers, for the first time (!!) on a real quilt. I will probably look back and think how rough they look, but for today I am thrilled!

I worked on a quilt to donate to our quilt guild's charity quilts. Have to say I saw Bonnie Hunter at our last quilt guild meeting in Fort Myerr, FL. Her enthusiasm was awesome.

I almost finished the binding on my son's quilt. I am excited as it is my first full size quilt.

No quilting for me I ended up working all day. I did get to look thru some quilting magazines. Did get some good ideas for my next quilt, Thank you for the chance at the giveaway.

After work, did a little organizing and worked on a knitting project for a birthday gift. Also picked out the colorway for a new quilt for an elderly aunt. Now to find time to cut it out and start stitching!

I sewed a backing up so I could get it to my LA quilter today. Then I finished sewing the top of my attic window quilt.(Of course I had to stop at the fabric shop on my way home today and buy more fabrics.
