Last December in a moment of insanity
(I seem to have a lot of those)
I started my buddy Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt "Roll Roll Cotton Boll"
We even have a support encouragement group at my online quilters site
Some of us... ummmm... me.... changed the pattern a bit in the hopes that we'd finish it in our lifetime.. or at least by the time it comes out in her next book (which ever comes first). The pattern is no longer on her site, watch for the next book!
I set myself a goal to give it as a gift, that seemed to light a fire under me after 12 months (hey.. it was smoldering awhile)

Then I pieced the back with some of the extras
and then sent it off to Cindy and Dennis of PinkPaw Studio to work some magic!
It's SO ME!
Have you finished a quilt yet this year?
don't forget to enter the giveaway HERE.. winner of the Amy Butler FQ Bundle picked tomorrow night! And I LOVE all the Valentine stories and all the Valentine blog links!

I didn't make that one or the one this past year. I still have the one from the year before- can't remember the name... Nice to see that you "Quilt by Credit card" like Eleanor Burns, too. Beautiful.

My sister did finish hers and it is amazing. I, too, looked at the pictures and said I am not even attempting this one! Some are braver than others and it shows in their end results. Pat, yours is just fabulous.

It's gorgeous! You have such a great stash of fabrics for a quilt like this. It would be a great snuggle quilt- you could sit and look at the different fabrics for hours.
