This year my Valentine's Day was spent baby sitting sweet grandnieces. Each of your four guests are great quilters with wonderful sense of color and feeling of action in their work.

Hi Pat,

You were talking to one of your guests today about Ralverly for knitters and
you both mentioned how something similair was needed for quilting. We do have on!! "Seamed Up" is a new site for quilters put together by Allison & Brye Lynn as the quilter's answer to Ralverly. They have worked so hard to put this site together. Please take a few minutes to check it out. Btw, they would make great guests on your radio show:)

I think my favorite valentine was in 1978. We were living in Newport R.I. and I gave birth to my daughter on Feb. 5th. That night came the biggest blizzard I have ever seen, it is still talked about. The Dr. came to the hospital the next day on cross country skis. My husband had to borrow a 4 wheel drive truck to take me home the next day (ouch). I had a cozy valentine with my boys, my new daughter and my husband that year, very memorable.

My all time favorite Valentine was one I got in high school...from my Dad! I was broken- hearted, having split with a boyfriend... senior in high school...emotional as that is...so, my Dad left me a Valentine on the kitchen table. He had made it before he headed out to the barn to do the milking, with the markers/pens/pencils/and 1 crayon he found in the kitchen junk drawer...LOL...the BEST valentine I ever got! I miss him still, but am so lucky to have the memories that I have of such a sweet kind man.

Sondra Wagner

My favorite valentine is one I haven't received yet. I think it would be so cool to receive one that's been tied to my cat's collar. Maybe a bow attached too.
I've been listening to your radio show and just love it!

Kathy Santos

My favorite Valentines Day was when I took the day off from work and my husband cooked and pampered me all day.

Machelle
