I love New York---I loved going to Mood Fabric and to bead shops---but it is the whole experience isn't it......

I hope you have a wonderful time in "The" City......I wish I was there right now....

Karen Lieberman

I've never been to NYC, but would love to see it some day.

wow - I can't remember much about the last time I was in NYC - I think I was very little - my uncle was in the Navy, and we went to see him while he had shore leave in NYC - we went to the Empire State Bldg - my uncle held me up so I could see over the railing at the top.... 'all the people look like ants' we said... I'd love to go - and see the museums, the Rockettes - and a Broadway show! and maybe even the Empire State Bldg, just maybe!

Jocelyn

I was born in the City, but moved away while still a teen. It's been years since I visited, but I still have great memories of the City that never sleeps. Especially the lights and sounds at Christmas time. Enjoy your stay.

Beck

Have a sundea (who cares if it's cold) at Serendipity! Take someone with you to share. It's worth it.

Judy Knorr

Live on Long Island so take the LIRR into the city. Have always loved to walk around (and poke around) in the garment district.

Sharon Andersen

I love to go to the city any time of the year, my youngest daughter lives there now so it's always a pleasure to visit. I love to walk and window shop, I love to walk the highline in Chelsea (starts next door to my daughters apt.) and I love the NYC food, especially Eatly!! It's a 3 hour peaceful drive or a 2 1/2 train ride.

My favorite time to visit "The City" is at Christmas, so my favorite thing to do is to see the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center.

I usually spend a day walking around - seeing all the wonderful Christmas displays in the store windows (Lord & Taylor is best). After walking all morning, and seeing the tree, I go to Mass at St. Patrick's (Noon-time Mass is fast!). Then I wander around and find someplace interesting to have lunch, look at more store windows and shop.

By 4:30 p.m., I'm back at the Met Life building because our community singing group is singing for the commuters. I used to work in "The City" and saw these groups as I made my way to the train. Now, I get to sing for them - lots of fun.

Sooo... all that makes my favorite thing to do in "The City."

Grace

I always look forward to going into the city, and don't do it nearly enough.
Just curious, where do you leave from, and how long does the train ride take?
Have a great time in "The Big City"!
