A FUN attitude!
The chatter... scheming... plotting ....planning is just starting today
Find a UFO to finish... or several!
Plan your snacks and share on my Facebook page or at my group
charge the camera batteries as we LOVE pictures during the luau weekend!
If you own a webcam or a video player.... go ahead and film yourself and share! it's ok.. we'll only tell a few thousand of our closest friends..
Do you play the ukelee? ... Own a Lei or have a grass skirt? Well get it out and put it on!! Take a photo and share... we know you want to!
Are you ready???
What will YOU finish this weekend?

I am in...got the binding made and the quilt trimmed...now off to put it on the quilt. And for the second I'll make the binding for quilt 2...maybe even get it on tomorrow. Then lots of hand sewing through the parade and Rose Bowl games. (Who's going take down my tree...lol?)

I'm going to finish the last 5 blocks for a 100-block English paper pieced quilt top. The pattern is Pies & Tarts by Sue Daley. (My hubby has dubbed it "the ugliest quilt in the world," but my daughter loves it, so she has dibs on this one. I did a blog post about it in June.

I will be doing inventory on Saturday but will join in on Sunday and Monday. Will work on finishing my son & DILs wedding quilt (their 5th anniversary was in July)

I'll participate some, but teachers in HoustonISD have to work on Monday! At least the kids don't come - only because I'll have time to get the room cleaned up after running out of the building on the 16th so I could see the grand son ASAP! I DO love my job.

This sounds like fun and will get me moving on a few UFOs (some are very old and don't require a lot of work to finish). I like the idea of spending New Year's Eve and day sewing and enjoying an adult beverage in the comfort of my home (hubby can enjoy his book and some sweet snacks). Thanks, Pat and Happy New Year to all.

I'm hoping for feet on the ground thru the 5th of Jan. I'm so ready for this years Luau. Had the coconut bra & the grass skirt cleaned. They are ready. Bring on the cabana boys & the roasted pig. My UFO's are chomping to get done :}

I need to finish a Row by Row swap quilt I did with one of my stitch groups a few years ago. The top is complete, just have to quilt and bind. I have to have it done to submit by the 16th for our guilds quilt show in February. Nothing like waiting until the last minute! LOL I'll be in the car for 10 hours on New years day so I'll have plenty of time to finish the binding and work on some hexies!
I LOVE your UFO weekends!

This sounds fun. I have a quilt on my quilting table that needs to be worked on. I'll try and get it finished, but it's pretty intensive quilting I'm doing on it. I'll check in on the Quiltmashup and FB. I'll post progress if I make any. No crazy parties for me! I don't fit the Coconut bra and grass skirt anymore but I can wear my Lei and MUU MUU. Maybe DH will take a picture of me hard at work/play.
