I am in...got the binding made and the quilt trimmed...now off to put it on the quilt. And for the second I'll make the binding for quilt 2...maybe even get it on tomorrow. Then lots of hand sewing through the parade and Rose Bowl games. (Who's going take down my tree...lol?)

LeAnn

I'm going to finish the last 5 blocks for a 100-block English paper pieced quilt top. The pattern is Pies & Tarts by Sue Daley. (My hubby has dubbed it "the ugliest quilt in the world," but my daughter loves it, so she has dibs on this one. I did a blog post about it in June.

I'm in !!! I need to finish organizing my sewing area ( DH moved stuff around while I wasn't home ..... ** sigh ** ) . and finish a gingerbread man quilt ( yes , it was supposed to be a Christmas gift :( ) and finish some mending that I have avoided and it's piled up !!! ........ and if that all goes well .................. I'll keep going !! thanks ! I have gained too much weight to dress for the luau ; but I do have my 'beach theme ' room , so can take some pictures in there !!! :-)

Miki

I am in for Sunday and Monday. I have a few UFOs that I would really like to get finished up.

Marilyn R

I'm looking forward to doing this! I want to finish my broken tumbler quilt and this will be a great chance for me to do it. :-)

Sheryl

I will be doing inventory on Saturday but will join in on Sunday and Monday. Will work on finishing my son & DILs wedding quilt (their 5th anniversary was in July)

Sarah in Houston

I'll participate some, but teachers in HoustonISD have to work on Monday! At least the kids don't come - only because I'll have time to get the room cleaned up after running out of the building on the 16th so I could see the grand son ASAP! I DO love my job.

Deb F.

This sounds like fun and will get me moving on a few UFOs (some are very old and don't require a lot of work to finish). I like the idea of spending New Year's Eve and day sewing and enjoying an adult beverage in the comfort of my home (hubby can enjoy his book and some sweet snacks). Thanks, Pat and Happy New Year to all.

Chris S.

I am in for Sat, Sun and Mon. I sure could use some good sewing days.

Sherry

I will be working part of the time but am motivated to get a couple of UFO's completed. I will do my best to join in on the fun.

Merry Ronan

I want to finish the fingerless gloves & towel holder & fleece scarf...count me in...

Robin Lanteigne

Hey Pat! Count me in! I haven't decided which UFO to work on yet but I'm sure I'll have at least one chosen for the weekend!

Kristin M

I work Saturday through Monday, I'm jealous of the time you all get to spend cleaning up projects for the new year. Have a great time!

Kelly Summers

I have to work through the weekend, but will do what I can to participate.

Liz

I can play on Sunday and Monday. I have to finish some CEU quizzes for work. I will get my lei ready!

Melissa

Mahalo for inviting me to your party! We live on the beautiful island of Kauai...this sounds like it will be the BEST luau I have ever attended!!! This week, I finished a little card holder from a Patrick Lose snowman kit and a block for a donation quilt. I will finish two of my UFO mystery quilt tops by January 2nd and have them ready for the machine quilter when I see her on the 8th!!! Love finishing projects;-). Aloha nui loa, Melissa

Beth Friend

Not sure how much I can sew, DD is still here until the evening of the 1st. After I take her to the airport, I will be at the party sewin away. Aloha

TheaM

I have so many 'almost done' - hoping to start out 2012 with a few 'TADA' finishes!
thanks for the incentive, Pat!

Sharon Hughson

I'm in. I too work Sat. and there is a change it will be hrs. at a home visit being supernanny. But I'm in anyway. If I do well I'll start another mystery on Jan. 1. Yes, that's my reward.

Dixie

I'm hoping for feet on the ground thru the 5th of Jan. I'm so ready for this years Luau. Had the coconut bra & the grass skirt cleaned. They are ready. Bring on the cabana boys & the roasted pig. My UFO's are chomping to get done :}

Betsy Albertson

Gosh, have so many UFO's, I would really like to get this one quilt backed and quilted.

Karen Lieberman

I need to finish a Row by Row swap quilt I did with one of my stitch groups a few years ago. The top is complete, just have to quilt and bind. I have to have it done to submit by the 16th for our guilds quilt show in February. Nothing like waiting until the last minute! LOL I'll be in the car for 10 hours on New years day so I'll have plenty of time to finish the binding and work on some hexies!
I LOVE your UFO weekends!

Shirley in Canada

I so hope this feeling of a cold is just a spoof as I so want to play during the luau! What a great way to get into busting UFO's for another year... thanks,Pat!!

Mary C in WA

This sounds fun. I have a quilt on my quilting table that needs to be worked on. I'll try and get it finished, but it's pretty intensive quilting I'm doing on it. I'll check in on the Quiltmashup and FB. I'll post progress if I make any. No crazy parties for me! I don't fit the Coconut bra and grass skirt anymore but I can wear my Lei and MUU MUU. Maybe DH will take a picture of me hard at work/play.
