Finish quilting my Second (2nd!) hand-pieced, hand-quilted quilt! What I thought was a lifetime project, I have found only takes me about two years!

My top goal for 2012 is to clean and organize my sewing room. I'm tired of wasting time looking for stuff!! I'm going to start by cutting up my scraps because they take up too much space.

My goal for this year is to become a better machine quilter on my home machine. That shouldn't be too hard because I just started! This actually helps on two fronts because it means more projects will be finished. Here's to 2012!!

My main goal this year is to finish a wedding quilt for my daughter who got married last August!
Posted by: Kristi | Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 07:46 PM
Pat, thanks for the giveaway. I entered earlier today, but it disappeared also. So here we go again. I have distilled my goal for this weekend... to help a 12 y/o (almost 13) design her first quilt and to get her behind the sewing machine for the first time. She is very excited about it as am I. I do not establish goals for more than a few days at a time so I don't get too disappointed in myself for not meeting them. Happy New Year to all. Brownies and Egg Nog for all.

My goal is to finish a rose log cabin for my daughter who is graduating in May- a double wedding ring for my 2nd sons wedding in June and a camo quilt for my third son. I completed one for my husband and oldest son this year. I now have a sewing room all to myself and hope that will allow me to be a little faster.

My goal is to finish all my UFOs and start ten more! Without buying any fabric...
Posted by: Jana Leuschen | Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 05:00 PM
Oh, dear, everyone seems to have UFO's! So do I! Well, in addition to quilting as many of mine as possible, and piecing a few new ones, I hope to get my pasture mowed before the end of August. This year I didn't do it until the end of November! Tsk!!

I have four quilts that I want to finish this year - not all of the UFOs, just four.

Use up my mountains of scraps using patterns I have never done before! That's my goal and I'm sticking to it!
Posted by: Sheri | Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 02:10 PM
I want to finish some of my UFOs. I think that's always my answer every year.
Posted by: patty | Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 01:22 PM
My goal is to only buy what is absolutely necessary in completing a project and to work on finishing some 139 UFO's! Well, at least making a HUGE dent in finishing some of them!

My goal is to keep up with my "me time" each day exercising and sewing.
Posted by: Johanna | Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 12:15 PM
i barely sewed or quilted at all in 2011, due to a number of circumstances, so my goal for 2012 is to finish the 8 (yes, EIGHT) quilts that are sandwiched and needing to be quilted and bound, and starting one new project that makes me smile! I'm spending the weekend getting organized, and loking forward to the New Year's Luau party!

Mentally: to be happy with what I have
Physically: to get my back to a healthy state
Creatively: to finish all the projects I start!
Thanks for the giveaway!

to complete one bucket list project (even if it's just a block) and to sew at least once a day. I want to find a group of woman that would like to sew, knit, or do some craft with each month...
