*** True Confessions today ***
YOU are doing MUCH BETTER than me
at the Sept into Oct Sew Along!
In the effort to keep it real I must tell you that I have failed to participate this time and failed to keep you chatting about it.
My work load is very heavy and I had big ideas, plans, wishes, hopes
but they were more than I could execute.
But my lack of chatter has not deterred a fabulous bunch of quilters at my Group and Facebook page to follow along and make either a quilt from my Novelty book, or the baby baskets!
YOU ROCK MY BOAT!!!
Yep.. had to say it.
There is a prize invovled here, someone wins a really nice package of goodies for making a top and putting it into the flickr group HERE (see the prize there too!)
You still have time.. I'm going to extend it to Oct 25
So get sewing and sharing... and chatting ...
the chatting helps me out.. wink!
And my BFF, Eileen Hull, is a MARVELOUS die cut designer
She is hosting a MASSIVE blog hop with her new die set
CLICK HERE to read about it, the projects are amazing!
And being a 'die cut virgin' I am going to give it a go on her hop and I'll be sharing my project in early November!
ps... find the photo above on my right side bar to hit all the blogs!
Read my post yesterday too.. get in on the fun!

"She turned her car onto the last stretch of straight drive leading her directly, face to face, to Hill House and, moving without thought, pressed her foot on the brake to stall the car and sat, staring.

Prior to commencing work, a contractor has a limited opportunity to gain familiarity with site conditions. But as the contractor performs the work, the contractor becomes very knowledgeable about the site. The contractor may discover features of the site which call into question aspects of the owner’s design. To what extent does the contractor have a duty to alert the owner to possible shortcomings

With all that you have on your plate, there is no need for you to apologize.
I have been in a slump myself, and productivity for me has been way down. I am hoping that I get something going here soon. After all, the holidays are right around the corner.

No need to apologize, Pat. We all get really busy at times and often .....the best laid plans, well, they just don't happen. I have finished the blanket stitch on 8 of my basket blocks. I have a goal to finish them by next Friday so I can sew them together the weekend of the 15th. I'll post to FB with my progress. :-)
