It was an interesting question and I wasn't quite sure how to answer without giving it some thought. I think the question, on his part, implied that if you're a Zionist and supporter of Israel, there's something a bit off about telling stories from the Palestinian point of view. There is -- on the surface. But not if you dig a little deeper.

Judy thank you for the note!
I know the owners of Cherrywood very well and do wash several times and test it too. I even emailed with them to be sure I was doing it right.
did you follow up with them after your experience? I know they would be very upset if you had not given them a chance to help you even if it was afterwards.

Be VERY careful with the Cherrywood fabric. I had a really bad experience (Think lots of tears and sobs) with color running even after I followed all the instructions for pretreating exactly including all the specified products Beautiful colors, but never again. (It was my son's wedding quilt, queen size, hand quilted!)

That's a scrumptious looking layer cake of fabric and the red from Cherrywood will be the "icing" on your cake. :-) Seriously, they are gorgeous fabrics and I'm thinking.....what fabrics aren't gorgeous? I've met very few fabrics that I didn't like. LOL! Going to make your baby baskets quilt in homespun plaids with wool baskets. At least that's the plan. Will pull the fabrics this afternoon. I like Shirley's take on this project......starting another UFO! I hope not as I have a place to hang the basket quilt when it's finished!

Anxious to see what you dream up for this fabric! And that color tool... I so could use that! Really I could! Love Baby Buds pattern, but that fabric mimicking all the work (at least I think that is what it's doing) I would used my border fabric and my strips from jelly roll to make the HST's! Ohhhh dang, Pat, you got me starting another UFO!! LOL
