Ta Da....The Big Reveal (click for a larger image)!
There we 2 changes we made to make it here
FIRST - we all thought adding some sashing would be amazing
But I didn't want to redraft the original pattern
So instead I took the 4 center blocks and make them 7.5"
and added a 1.5" wide stripe around them.
SECOND - when we added that sashing the block we made in step 1 had to be redone
as the stripe in the block was on the outside right against the sashing (yucky)
So I replaced it with yellow... as that worked well against the stripe
It was SUPER tough to decide between the Yellow/Green
And the Blue... either would make a super quilt!
So tell us.. Will you set in similar Fabrics?
Or use a totally different colorway.. such as????
Leave a comment.. remember someone will win a aurifil thread kit on Sunday!

I would go with the green myself. All of those blocks are terrific!

Its is absolutely beautiful. I had thought the green would be the best but I'm glad you went blue!

The quilt turned out so well and I prefer the blue, it looks great!

I love the blue, and that stripe sashing! Beautiful thread to give away.

If I were making this quilt, I'd probably choose the blue colorway, while my sweetheart would want me to make the green colorway for more contrast. It's been a lot of fun to see so many options. Thanks for this fun project.

Sorry, I don't like pink, LOL! Orange or yellow would do! I've never used Aurifil threads so would like this chance to try them out.

I like the blue cause it looks so summery. Very nice quilt!

The blue is really cute, but I probably would use more green if I were to make this quilt :)

I LOVE the blue, funny, it didn't appeal to me in the small samples we voted on all week. The 4 middle blocks with the stripes were great. I think I might make it in copper, purple, bronzes, pewter of some type. I'm hooked on "metallics" right now.

Great choice in the end. I'd go for a bit more drama in my quilt and use charcoal, berry and orange. :)

This was my choice in the vote and I love how you changed it with the stripe fabric. Great Job.

Love the blue fabric, it is refreshingly cool and springy at the same time.

This is the combination that I liked - especially the stripes - and not having everything matchy matchy. Great work by all the designers!
If make this myself, would use similar fabrics with less pink and more green and yellow and blue in the blocks.
Adore the stripes.

I love pink and green quilts, but the blue sets it off so nicely and still has both pink and green in it. And there is lots of room for some fancy quilting!

That turned out so pretty! I haven't been following along with this, but will have to go back and read all the posts!

I will go with what I suggested yesterday and put in the Pink for the setting Triangles with the Blue border and skip the sashing. I do like the extra kicker borders of striped fabric. Thanks for a chance to get your favorite Aurifil Thread!

I really like the striped boarder going around the inside blue blocks and then again using it for as the double boarder before the larger flowered boarder. Very nice job.
