Good Afternoon,
So it is FOOTBALL on TV, oh joy, I guess that means grab my quilting stuff and head back up stairs. I guess I would rather be quilting with you girls anyways. So up stairs in the office and decided to see what Pat had to say today and found this blog.
DUCK TAPE, oh my gosh I have aGrandson that loves Duck tape, I had some here for repairs on something can't remember , but my Grandson found it and guess what my spray bottle of air freshner in the spre bathroom has new gray cover, my chair has been repaired, his belt got a new cover, his school note book has a new design. I am sure the are other new items that I just haven't noticed yet. Can't wait to find out. For his birthday I got him a roll of duck tape in a cool color. Yet to see ehat he made withthat. LOL
SO Pat this topic was a Great !!! Gave me a laugh !!!!
Thanks for the Great reading and memories.

I'm totally laughing! I thought you were joking last night when you said that you found duct tape! This is hilarious!!! :)

If I didn't have a teenage daughter, I wouldn't have found out the wonderful uses for duct tape. They had duct tape day at school earlier this year and she sent me on a mission. Lots of duct tape later she made a beautiful strapless gown!! Go figure that duct tape could be used that way.

Just wondering, does the garmet they are wearing stick to them? teehee! Weard! Have you made a body double with duck tape? We are going to try that and the paper tape, one of each. We will see how that works.

There is always duck tape in our house and it has fixed some funny things. My friend, Connie, has a "duck tape" quilt that she made for her husband. My son's friend, Matt, had a wallet he liked and just kept adding more duck tape to it when it began to wear out. Eventually it was all duck tape! LOL! I love those kids that get creative and make Duck tape prom outfits. Not very cuddly but certainly creative!

LOL!!! Gotta love this topic - I have also heard that Duct Tape gives scholarships for best prom dress, or something like that!
Growing up in rural Vermont, DT was always a staple building supply - I still have at least 2 rolls! (And I'm not saying how old I am - but I did attend a one room school!)

OMG, What a funny blog - you mean it's not just for windows?????? Oh maybe that was masking tape, and duct tape was for tying peeps up............. I forget. I've seen the one with prom dresses tho - cracked me up!!

OMG...and to think I've only used it to cover a gouge in a vinyl chair that my ex made when sawing a piece of wood. Yep...that's just one of the reasons he's my ex. Duct tape can't be used for everything...although you've shown lots of great uses...LOL

We love duct tape and have every color and every print. For homecoming in Texas all the girls wear mums (very large mums at that). This year my freshman in college made a duct tape mum for my freshman in high school. It was a huge hit and you can see it on my blog.
