Last stop before sea day was Boston... where we "PAKED DA KAR in HAVAD YAD"..
well .. we parked the SHIP!
Unlike some of the other days, Boston was a HOT and STEAMY day. So what did we do? WALK from port into town to the Quincy market area.
uhhh... sorry about that one.. the shipping dept likes to prove we were here
I love the mix of old and new in Boston
More old with the new office buildings behind!
We walked to the waterfront... because it seems after a week on a cruise ship we still wanted to see more water...
then we found Little Italy! I see there are still Kennedys running for things
The streets were hopping and lots of Italian being spoken.. and soccer games being discussed sometimes loudly... just saying!
Boston's Finest at work
This is the ONLY time in 5 hrs that we sat down... whew!! We have NO CLUE why they gave us these bibs.. but we wore them any way as they were MUCH BETTER than some of the hats they put on other people!
And your trip is NOT complete unless you see Cheers...
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came
We LOVED Boston!
Our last scavenger hunt was to show off a logo shopping bag or a coaster.. we got some really fun ones!
A few more photos of the room
cutting cutting cutting
Fabric and projects and quilters OH MY!
I taught everyone how to stamp labels for their quilt...I think I can see steam .. the concentration level was HIGH!! But this is EASY I explained.. they agreed!
And most of the HAPPY quilt group! Don't you think Megan is adorable.. we all adopted her! (I'm sure you can tell which one she is!) HINT..... she is the one YOUNGER than the rest of us and hamming it up!

And what is this??? A promo for next year!!! I will be quilt cruising out of Baltimore with my good friend
Bonnie Hunter and i will be hosting quilting classes on the same ship I was on this year. 4 sea days, 4 ports.. it's a fabulous time! We sail into one of my favorite ports, San Juan... it's spectacular!
You have PLENTY of time to save. Why not take advantage of Sew Many Places payment plan? Each month you pay a part of the trip. So by the time you leave the trip is all paid for! Several people did that this year and really loved it.
CLICK HERE for the info page to see the ports and schedule.
Then call Sew Many Places at 877-887-1188 to reserve a spot. There is a limit to how many can attend.. so be sure you come along!

Loved the pics of the cruise. I noticed the red, white and blue bow in your hair on the header. All ready for the 4th of July!

Loved the travel, Pat! And if I wasn't so darn afraid of water and large boats (ships) I would be the first registered for the fall to meet two of my most favorite artists!

Loved your pics. As a local just want you to know that we call our Italian section the North End. We like to be different from NY. :-)
BTW, the place with the funny hats is "Dick's Last Resort" and is a favorite spot for Bachelorette parties. ;-)
