I FINALLY got a photo of the 'Real Lulu' rabbit in my yard! Isn't she sweet?

And guess what we saw the other day.. yep.. your right.. a baby bunny!! Not close enough for photos... it was romping in the outer yard and we watching with binoculars... the baby was SO ADORABLE. 

I held a tiny baby rabbit once. My girlfriend Pat brought it to a sewing group... it was only as big as the palm of my hand... just too sweet for words.

Another Touch of New England

When we travel to teach we sometimes have a little time off. On our trip to NH/Mass we had a day to get from one location to the next... but LUCKY US... it would not TAKE a whole day .. woot woot!

So after we repacked the lecture and loaded up the car we headed towards the beach! When I was 7 years old my family spent the summer in a rental home in Rye Beach NH. We could see the beach from our property and of course we walked there often!

Rye Beach has changed a LOT since I was 7... neither Mom or Dad recognized it from my photos. A student told me most of the old homes were torn down.

It is still a beautiful shore line and of course we were lucky enough to find seafood for lunch.. YEAH US! I do believe I had the BEST clams I've had in a very long time. Stop in at Ray's... and have some REALLY good food!

It was a TAD too cool for us to eat outside. So we settled for a nice window seat upstairs with a view of the ocean. Oh lucky are WE!

A touch of New England

Here are a few workshop pictures from the two trips to New Hampshire and Massachusetts... where I got to say 'kaw-fee' for 4 days!!

This is the Dover Library here the workshop was held... with quilts made by a guild member! This is a very old library right down town.. that has ALWAYS been a library.  Next door was the old school... now housing many types of business. One of the students went to High School in it.... we had lunch there.

And steeples... you HAVE to see New England steeples.. there is nothing like it anywhere else. This one with a beautiful tile work and ship is in Dover.

And one of the Plaistow group... fun was had by all!

And a few slice of summer backgrounds!
