Happy Halloween!

Is this printed twill just the cutest!! Well I'm on travel, which is not the most fun on Halloween, but it is interesting to eat out and see how everyone dresses up!

I used the twill on my layout about my spiced cookies since Na-Na and Pop-Pop usually got these around the holiday, and the color fit perfectly!

Had to show you pumpkin 'peeps' too!

We all need...

We all need neighbors who are THIS FUN.... they have this great skelaton on the bike in their front yard! And they don't even have kids at home... what a hoot this is! Needless to say.... they are bike people (Harley to be exact!)

moods of me - Brainy

Another interesting mood was 'Brainy'.... hard one for me. I had to really think when do I 'feel' brainy??? I think I mostly feel brainy when Gregg and I have discussions on things about the world... current events... or maybe when I actually understand some motorcycle technical mumbo jumbo...ha!!

moods of me - stressed

The workshop had several moods that were difficult or 'not happy'.... I did Sad and Stress is another one that happens...more than I'd like! Usually I cause my own stress...after all... I'm the one creating all those due dates!

Thank you for all the sweet comments about my book! It is very fun to create in another medium, a nice break from fabric... for me paper is fast and instant gratification! It also allows me to journal more than a quilt does, very nice.

The papers are Basic Grey the 'Urban Courture' line. A few more pages to share and when I get home Ithink there may be one more.

In Beaumont TX this morning... driving into Houston to the convention center after rush hour to set up our booth... love this day!

moods of me - Creative

I think I can do a whole BOOK on the creative mood! I decided to keep it simple and use the photo of me sewing... making stuff is when I feel most creative.  How about you?
